CFL = Compact Fluorescent Lamp.
If you could find one which has a narrow enough intregal Ballast to fit the Track Light Luminare, it would work.
Some CFLs are used with fixtures which have a Ballast included - such as Recessed Fixtures.
Suggest using Electronic type Ballasts with the CFLs so the weight of the Magnetic Core will not be a problem.
