I have to finish a job that a non-licensed electrician started without a permit. I looked at the job, and it's finishing a basement with a sheetrock ceiling. It didn't seem to me that there was any way to estimate the job. The only way I could do it was by time and materials, unfortunately. I don't have much overhead, but at the same time, I don't want to be at the "handyman wages."
