I have run up on this requirement in a couple of jurisdictions (SC) on projects I have worked on. It doesn't seem to be universally enforced, as say the other 4 provisions of IBC 1006.3. Kind of wondering if that was the observation of you folks out there. Also wondering what is being used for egress illumination outside of buildings for small & medium sized commercial buildings. Manufacturer names will do. thanks for your insights in advance
