HUH.......

The transformer is putting out "x amount" of BTU's. The surrounding air would do nothing to cool it down. If the room was 50F, the internal temp of the transformer would still be 300F.

If the room was 90F wouldn't the internal temp still be 300F?

How does the ambient air have anything to do with the internal temp and the output BTU of the transformer.

Wouldn't this be like putting a large resistive heater in a room, you could raise or lower the room temp, but the temp of the heater would remain constant, wouldn't it?

Slightly confused I think?
