Bjarney, Wow, that brings back some memories. We used to have to be able to start a three-phase motor using this very type of static converter, at Technical college. The guy that wrote that was right though, the capacitors are very un-forgiving, with multiple start-stop cycles. Years later, I'm still combing the paper out of my hair.
