We have been asked to build an extra low voltage counter and signaling device that would add and subtract much like a parking gate system but count people instead of cars.
I thought it would have to be inspected and approved as stated in rule 2-024 sub-rules (1),(2),(3).The power supply would be a CSA approved but that doesn't seem tho matter(sub-rule 3).Rule 68 page 575 in the ontatio Occupational Health and Safety act also addresses this.
The same person has also informed me that any and all extra low voltage work is exempt from inspection?
I have serious trouble believing this and would like opinions from other licensed guys.
