I live in a 50 year old house which requires new electrical service. I'm not too familiar with electrical jobs and would like to know more about what is required (cost, codes (CA), things to ask an electrician).
The service comes from the pole to the garage - where there is a main switch connected to four old glass fuses.
Many of the outlets do not have 3 prongs - so there would be additional wiring required.
