Thanks for the responses and they make sense. However, I built my house 5 years ago and I have a GFI outlet located on my house which happens to be 22 feet away from the waters edge. I spoke to my code official yesterday and he says that whoever inspects it might allow it if he's in a good mood. If not, I guess I'll fail and have to run another outlet. I think the codes need a little updating. Thanks again for responding.
