I did get a little off topic, there sorry. The main things I expect from an apprentice of "helper" is not even a tool it's a positive attitude, and willingness to work. Aside from that Basic hand tools, and hand benders 1/2 , and 3/4" are what my company expects of helpers. All power tools are provided.
