I notice the NFPA states that those "multi-tap adapters" are not allowed.

Why then, does Leviton (ditto Eagle Electric and Gem Electric) continue to manufacture them????

I see that OSHA flatly prohibits the socket-in-a-handybox kluge just like Joe Tedesco mentioned.
