I have a question on securing conduit to metal Q decking used in commercial buildings. I usually use self tapping sheet metal screws. The last job we were on concrete was poured on top of the Q decking. What type of screw do you use that first has to go through metal then through concrete. Thanks for any help.

I've been a pretty big fan of the Tapcon system

It's easy, quick, and the carbide tip should be able to punch through the decking to anchor in the 'crete above.

I use a Hilti and just drill thru the decking then use the proper anchor for the job, plastic or steel a drop in

I bang the corner of the flute with a hammer
which loosens up the concrete an a sef tapping screw will go right in.
