Well, we shut down switch gear today and they made me "touch the 2,700"
I can top that.
I got to don all the appropriate PPE and touch a live 12,000v lug in a padmount switch.
The sensation was quite odd, and it gave me an even higher respect for the POCO linemen!!
Of course, that doesn't count getting bit by the xenon lamp ignitor in a projector once. (50kv, very high frequency and I'd say a few milliamps.) My hand was numb for most of the day.
