So you want the load to be controlled by a timer, a photocell, and/or manually? That can get complicated.

You can either come up with a selector switch, or just try the bypass and see if the photocell still works.

I've installed HOA's on all of our lighting contactors, so I can turn the control circuit on manually to check the outside lighting during the day, and be able to turn the control circuit completely off for lighting repairs. Doing it this way prevents back feeding the photocell.

HOA = Hand/Off/Auto (a 3 position switch)
