Need to install 3 480v single phase parking lot circuits on contactor. Can I get by with a 3 pole or do I need to go with a 6 pole? Must I break both conductors?

In my opinion 410.54(B) requires you to switch all ungrounded legs supplying the 'auxiliary equipment' (AKA the ballasts).
