Opinions are like fingers- most of us have a handful of them!
I say that any screw that threads into the correctly sized hole for its' threads is OK. Therefore, a Teks screw is ok, as it drill the right size hole. An ordinary sheet metal, or dryall screw, that just happen to 'fit' into an existing hole is NOT ok.
Of course, both Joe Tedesco and Mike Holt disagree with me on this.
I do hope that someone brought this up for the 2005 code!
