I prefer used up spackle buckets. It's easy to lug around and my pouch fits in there nice. Tape, bx cutters, and various other "things" that I use often sit at the bottom of the bucket. The bucket also sometimes doubles as a step stool but shh, don't tell OSHA.

Then I have these.

1 for hand tools, testers, hacksaw, and specialty tools.

1 for cable television and telephone/ data tools.

And 1 for for all my drill bits, battery chargers, batteries, flashlights, portable cordless power tools, etc.

It's a PITA lugging all this stuff to and from my personal work truck to the companies work truck. I also have a backup set of hand tools, and pouch, in case something is ever lost or stolen so I am alsways prepared for work.
