The varied types of 'work' that electricians do is a topic that I discuss in class at Vo-Tech. Entry level guys/gals, looking for a new path.

I have to say the 'hot tin roof' is something I have not encountered; that is the 'tin' part. Also have to add I never saw a steel mill.

Over the years, frozen, baked, broiled, soaked, dirty, confined, nausea, and probably others that escape me at the moment. We probably all have "been there"

From 'clean rooms' to trash dumps, to sewage pump stations, to nice comfortable office trim outs, to hot attics, hot/noisy factories, we all pay the dues.

At the end of the discussion, I then ask....'so you want to electricians??'
