Here in Oradell NJ we got our power back at about 12:30 AM last night. I knew, as the ceiling light in my bedroom came to life then. We were dead for about 30 hours. Power coming back in the middle of the night implys that the crews are working round the clock. It must be difficult and dangerous to work with high voltage at night, but they are experts at handling such.
I heard the same "everyone should be back up Monday" statement. I suppose that the people at customer service do not have the information to tell people of the real progress.
