I second your thoughts, with ANZAC (Australian/New Zealand Army Corps) Day not far behind us over here, it is time to reflect on those that gave up so much, without option during WW's I and II, Korean and Vietnam Wars.

One thing I do have to admit to is, at the Dawn Parade here at 6am on ANZAC Day,the Last Call on the bugle always brings a tear to my eye, my late Grandfather served in Italy in WWII, he told me some very shocking stories of what he saw and went through.

I agree that this thread should honour the soldiers and not become a political thing.
