in wiring a house does anyone see a problem with bringing power into switch box , then to recps as needed in one room? no more than 10 drops per 20 amp circuit and no more than one light or ceiling fan, no vanity or multi lights fixture included.
so many ways to install what is the common acceptable standard?
The way I usually try to do this (I don't do much house wiring) is to lay out the circuits so that one room is served by two general purpose circuits, so that even if one circuit trips out, there will at least be a few working outlets in a room.
'66- it will be at least 3 more years before WV actually requires us to use AFCI's, we're just now getting around to adopting the 1999 NEC. As usual, if it's something good, we're near the last to get it, if it's bad, we're usually the nations leader.
Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.
