Something today reminded me of something that was once said to me.

Upon arriving at a home where I was going to be doing a service upgrade I notified the owner that after I got set up I'd be killing the power and it would be out for a certain period of time. I was told that would be fine, they knew that they wouldn't be able to watch their favorite TV shows so they were going to tape them. [Linked Image]
I didn't know what to say, but the smile gave me away ... and then I heard, .. Oh, Ohhhh!

Easy to fall into traps like that!

It reminds me of the times I've tried to plug a power tool into an outlet which is on a circuit I've just shut off.

Most embarrassing if someone is watching!
