Mods - please feel free to lock this thread.

Guys - I'm writing a story for EC&M about the electrical DIY phenomenon, and I really need your help. I need your stories of dangerous DIY installations that you've come across or had to repair, and comments about DIY in general and the effect it's had on your business - whether it's led to more work or taken some away. If you're willing to talk, contact me at mhalverson@primediabusiness.com or (913) 967-1986.

Thanks

DIYers constitute 1/2 of my biz, probably much insurance biz, as well as fire dept biz, the safety biz, even some E.R. biz...

The powers that be, NFPA, IAEI, OSHA, etc basically condone this via thier silence...

so good luck publishing your blog writerguy, methinks you've quite the nads to post your phone # too, gawd knows that big orange place probably has a few horse heads layin' around for such occassions
