On my porch outside my kitchen I have a motion sensor light that is on its own switch. I always leave the switch turned on.

When ever i turn off my kitchen lights which are on a different 3 way switch it makes my motion sensor light kick on. Then after a couple minutes the light will turn off like I have it set to do.

How can my kitchen light trigger the motion sensor which is on its own switch?

somehow those 3 ways and that motion light are on the same circuit and it sounds like every time you hit the switch the motion goes off like it was just getting power.just like when you first turn one on and it does the test mode thing.
need to remove the motion light from the 3 way.could be neutrals or travelers.
