Check this out folks, just when you think that you have seen it all.

Found this while rewiring the older portion of a house. When the new addition was built this is the way that the electrician tied in the existing 100 amp panel to the new 200 amp in the addition. Took it off the exterior wall , laid it on the dirt , tied the new wires in and then put two bars across the meter terminals.

Engineering at a new level lol.
