Did this carnival have a dodgem ride? The ozone from the power grid on that should cover up the odor of any other electrical arcing quite nicely..... [Linked Image]

The duplex receptacle hanging from the top box also doesn't have a weather-proof cover or a GFCI....

Actually looks like an indoor surface mount box with a metal cover, probably metal nipple
