So many of us assume that after having been in the trade for a number of years, "...we've seen it all." But once in a while something presents itself which, if not for the overriding hazard of it, is almost laughable.

This situation was discovered on the wiring to the evaporater in a walk-in cooler at a fast food restaurant. Seems the carflex was too short for whomever initially installed the wiring.

Note the open wire splices and lack of support for carflex -- all in a damp environment.

Bonus: Check out the upturned plastic bowl which is being used to support the drain pan to the unit.

The shelving/racking is right up against the wiring.

Young Grasshopper, you have not yet learned to grasp the concept of the walkin box AS One Fully Within The Bounds Of Article 370. Seek Enrichment In The Minds Eye that the Omnipotent Walkin Indeed BECOMES The Virtual Junction Box. Only DuctTaype ByzugsPuunkt Zen can truly Make It Whole.

Maybe it's an experiment in superconductivity? Just set the dial to 5 deg. K. and wait!
