Yes, it's pretty nifty. Takes a few seconds to load the applet to run the chat, but then everything runs smoothly and quickly.

Just curious.

Maybe we can come up with a reasonable time and day that most of us could log on to chat?

If it was a regular fixture it might actually work!

Ah, .. right to the important stuff ..

I haven't seen them yet, but they are supposed to be I think (maybe they want to get paid first )

Anyway, if they aren't it says we could add our own too. It will take awhile before I understand most of it's capabilities, but I like what I see so far.

As Paul and I have had some good chats with other people around the world, I'd personally recommend it!!.
Please have a go.
Also instead of using the link above, you will notice the golden-coloured "Voice-Bubble" to the left of the BB list.
Click on Login and you are done my friend!
Just use your ECN Login.
You can find your password in "Profile" at the top of the BB pages.

I had a nice discussion with "Hutch" the other night. We discussed American vs. Brittish wiring systems, then we discussed Monty Python, then we discussed electrical a bit more. It really is a nice place to get to know each other on a more freindly basis. I had a very nice time, and do every time I frequent the chat room.

Yes, it provides a good place to unwind, and I've managed to catch quite a few ECN members in there now.

I think by the very nature of a "natural" conversation, the topic is likely to wander from one thing to another, but it all goes to give a better understanding of how things are done where the other guy lives.

I'll try to post some times of when I'll be in there, but my working hours are very variable and often subject to last minute changes, so it's awkward to be precise sometimes.
