Colombia follows an adapted version of the USA NEC called the Codigo Electrico Colombiano. Wiring is done according to NEMA conventions.

Here is a commonly used brand of electric meter. Couldn't get a better picture. The brand is ISKRA and is marketed by the INDUSTRIA ELECTRICA DEL CAUCA S.A. (INELCA S.A.).
