Maybe you can help me. I got a stack of old devices (switches, receptacles,...), and out of pure curiosity I'd like to identify the manufacturer. Only thing I know is the company logo, an uppercase M in a perpendicular triangle. These guys have obviously been around for a very long time (50ies or earlier, well into the 80ies) and almost had a monopoly on devices in Austria. When going into an old house here that hasn't been recently rewired you can be almost sure you'll find stuff made by that company. All parts carried a 3digit part number (for example a 3-way toggle was P121).
do you have any idea? Do they still exist? The stuff was really reliable.

Those look as though they're standard British size devices. I don't think they'd be anything like that.

I can't say I know that many of the Continental manufacturers, except maybe LeGrand, Kopp, etc.

Marklin is the only Germanic company which comes to mind for M, but they make model trains!
