What is the TV fare like, where you come from over the Xmas-New Year break?
If it is anything like here, it really blows, man!.
Repeats, Repeats, Repeats of the most annoying Rubbish as what the TV execs can find(read Low Cost,Low Entertainment Value).
We still have the Sound Of Music every year.
Whats your pet peeve?.

Christmas TV has gotten attrocious in England. Some of the garbage they turn out now is just unbelievable.

I'm a great fan of old TV and movies, so I'm quite happy to see classic favorites repeated. After all, it wouldn't be Christmas without.....

It's usually a 50/50 guess as to whether we'll have The Wizard of Oz or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang over the holidays (the latter this year). Timeless kids movies that those of us who are "big kids" can still watch over and over.

The repeats that I do object to are their "another chance to see classic comedy from the 1980s" or some such nonsense. Most of it was trash when it was made in the 1980s -- It's still trash!

I'll just go back a great many more years and watch James Stewart, thanks! [Linked Image]

Another popular thing, is Dicken's A Christmas Carol. I hace seen about a dozen
interpretations scheduled (seen some too).
Also, there is Network Chrismas Variety specials.
