Any of you folks use the PDA/Palm type devices in the electrical field?
I've had one in use for about 5 years now (an m515) with all types of electrical and estimating programs.

Nope. Never have been a fan of those things- to my mind they're neither fish nor fowl.. not a phone nor a laptop [Linked Image]

I use a Treo 600 cell phone and it has the Palm Software installed. Works fine for me and get me onto the Internet and receives and send email.

Not a computer, but does keep me informed.

What are the program's you mention that are electrical?

I use a normal mobile phone with infra which I synchronize the phone numbers and calendar, tasks.

It was useful once my telephone was stolen.

I have all the contacts in my pc too, but I can carry the phone with me.
