That mouse looks to be on the neutral side of that outlet. Was it wired correctly? The mouse should have tested it before getting in there.....

Another reason for using wall plates...to keep the beasties out (or in, in some cases) [Linked Image].

If you'll look closely just above the dultlex inside the box, what do you see? The look at what's just above the top of the outside of the box.

After mousing in a cable I always take the mouse out before installing the receptacle due to the room constraints. Conversely, it looks like they only did a box fill for the front half of the mouse but tried it anyway.

Actually its a trained mouse.. can slip behind the receptacle and check those pesky " push in " connections... You don't even have to remove the device anymore!!
