Recently we saw the extent to which the Bellagio Casino went to conceal a panel. This seems to be a common desire; see in these pics what a local restaurant did.

(I know there is a working space issue here- the booth moves away easily- I just wanted to show what can be done with a little paint!)

Plato de pollo tamale con toto y refitos... Y grande horchata, por aqui, por favor.

Sorry my spanish is bad.....

The best concealment of a panel I have seen is at a fancy hotel. Its a totaly hidden door in the fancy wood paneling of a hallway. It has magnet cabinet catches. If you didn't know where it was you would never find it.

Was the 'cabinet' 30" wide? [Linked Image]

Just kidding around, it sounds nice. [Linked Image]

A lot of our schools do this. It's usually not a problem until you have to remove the cover. Hope you have a sharp razor knife and a lot of time. What's worse are the receps and faceplates that are painted. We play h*** with them.

Wow,
That's certainly well done.
If it weren't for them open panel doors I would never have seen them. [Linked Image]

Are the tables fastened in place? That would be a violation of the 30 x 36 inch clearnces wouldn't it?

The code section is 110.26(A) however renosteinke had stated there is a work space violation.

I do want to point out that if the tables are fastened in place or not does not make any difference.

The working space is required to be kept clear by 110.26(B)
