This was formerly the heaviest load in the place, the Coffee Maker! No connector in the handy box, ground removed from the NM, and terminal screws backwards.





Well, that's coming out, let's see where it goes? Splice in the back of the cabinet, to 16/2 SO!





Not in good shape, is it? Many years of cooking on it, as it is the only outlet in the kitchen (Then)





Pulled out the rest and cut it from the #14 K&T circuit, in my newly insulated attic! (Seller insulated for required “energy compliance”. More like fire hazard creation, spent 2 ½ hours up there just cutting things out, as I tracked all the wiring down. Now I’m looking to track down the Insulation Contractor, for skipping the required Electrical Inspection before he did the job.
