Sure if it is dead.

I doubt very much the POCO would liven this up.

Like iwire said, if it's dead it may be an eyesore but it's not a hazard.

If i was doing work on that property, I would get rid of it. If no paid job on that property just go on by. If it was hooked up to the POCO lines, a call to the AHJ and POCO should get action. If not hooked up there is no hazard.

Well, the meter part's no good...Let's see, the old man (below) looks like the old horse trader I know that thinks that nobody can tell him about electricity (having read an early Audel's).

But I must say I like the hat, and would like to know where I can buy one.
