I would like to hear what will be said about this installation.

Is the box fill considered here where the code seems to be silent on this product?

What are these devices called?

It should be considered. 370-16 4 Double volume fill allowance for the largest conducter connected to the device.

Sparky:

The surface metal raceway extension, is the cubic inch capacity usually engraved on it?

That's what I was getting at, since it is installed over a 2 gang device box.

Thanks for the link to the Despard Devices.

Not sure about the NRTL comment, what does it mean??

Joe,
most have a cu. in. marking, not sure if it's mandatory...i thought 'silent' meant box fill vs. yolk devicing... [Linked Image]

NRTL's?, well....IMO an NRTL sticker is not a mark of quality, our trade simply sees it as releasing them from liability.
This is an example of junk allowed on the market.
(my crack alluded to them on drugs..)
Fed. Pac. is another example... [Linked Image]
IC/Non-IC cans, another... [Linked Image]
I've talked to a few electricians whose AHJ's are 'breaking the sticker barrier',
shooting down 'listed' materials.
think about it!
