weird issue with a 240volt light

I have three lights not working. I wired a new barn. I was thinking maybe all three lights don't work on the same switch line.

I have 240 volts at the light boxes. I took the lights home, I wired the lights at home at 240volts, they work. The other lights in the barn work.

I don't understand how i have 240 volts at the light box, but light won't turn on?

Any suggestions?

What kind of light? Some discharge type lamps do not like the cold.

Led lamps

I don't know a lot about LEDs in the cold but it might still be your issue if this barn is unheated.

Are these bulbs that screw into a fixture? If so, maybe the bulbs aren't making contact with the base spring of the socket you used.

Is there 240V at the fixture?
