The NEC is not for Canadians. There many differences in codes. Bathrooms and kitchens are some major differences.

There is also the Commercial and Industrial Edition by PS Knight. I have it myself and highly recommend it.

I got the commercial and Industrial edition by PS Knight. It is a great book, good illustrations and brings things down to earth. I use it a lot as a resource for my lesson plans when I teach Code. However it is not perfect. For example, how he treats various aspects of welder calculations is not the same as the way we do it here in Alberta. So as I go through any calculations I am cautious not to totally rely on this book.
