Just wondering if anyone uses Gps Tracking for service vans and which models they would recommend. Thank you.

I haven't used it, but MapPoint software has a GPS transmitter included. The cost is about $330

I used a private service about 3 years ago, can’t remember the name of the company.

It had its pros and cons, one of the cons was catching one of my service man at a titty bar 2+ hours a day, and it was a sad sad story.

Lately I have been looking at doing this again with Nextel, it’s only a $15 per phone charge, but I don’t think I can stand loosing any more good electricians. Maybe the solution is to tell them about it so they know not so screw up.

On a side note I still kick myself for not putting a GPS tracker on my $5,000 bender that walked off a job last year.

Ito, I know your pain. I had a 555 SBC walk once too.
