Hi guy`s I was wandering, percentage wise the difference between new construction and remodel work.How much higher do you guy`s usually charge,2,3 times ect...?
Example: a 20 amp seperate circuit to micro wave in new construction, versus one after sheetrock and cabinets are up.All things being equal. Take care and be safe.

LK's answer is the very best answer, but I know you are looking for a faster way to deal with the question, so I will give you a good swag. If it is just the microwave outlet you are driving over to run, just think for a minute of how much you would charge for this as a service call flat rate and divide that figure by your usual opening charge to get your answer. My guess would be 6 times the usual opening rate. If it is a complete kitchen remodel job with all sheetrock removed that number can come down to three times your normal conditions opening rate, and you will make out allright. Do not drop below three times the normal charge for an opening in remodel work. It is tedious work and you should be able to increase your profit margin on this type of work for the pain and suffering it will cause you.
