I have a job that I am to wire a dedicated circuit to. I can use a conduit that is in the same area, but the panel is full. There is another panel beside it, that is not full. The easiest way I see, is use the conduit, and set a juncion box at the panel location, and pipe into the other panel. Is this acceptacle to code? I found it in the 99 code, but can't seem to find it in the new code. Thanks for the help. Steve...

p.s I was looking in the wrong section of the new code my mistake again. The best I read in 300-3 (c) that circuits rated 600 volts or less can be run in the same raceway, etc....

This is what you are looking for.
312.8 Enclosures for Switches or Overcurrent Devices.
Enclosures for switches or overcurrent devices shall not be used as junction boxes, auxiliary gutters, or raceways for conductors feeding through or tapping off to other switches or overcurrent devices, unless adequate space for this purpose is provided. The conductors shall not fill the wiring space at any cross section to more than 40 percent of the cross-sectional area of the space, and the conductors, splices, and taps shall not fill the wiring space at any cross section to more than 75 percent of the cross-sectional area of that space.

Steve another area that specifically rcognizes and allows this would be 200.6(D), this is allowing different systems which would definately be from two different panels.
