customer saw cut the 8 inch thick concrete floor in his warehouse to install some plumbing. He wants some electrical installed too. Does the PVC conduit I'm installing for a feed to an outlet need to be 18 inches below finished grade? Any minimum spacing from the plumbing required?
Thanks
Bob

Can't you encase it in the new portions of the slab?

There is no code depth requirement under a building. See Table 300.5. There is also no seperation requirement from the plumbing pipes in the NEC.

There should be sand or pea gravel under the slab. Normaly I like to bury my conduit in the sand just below the surface.
That way I don't have to worry about it getting busted during the pour and there is no chance of the slab cracking along the conduit line.
