What the code on the following : I have a 400 amp base mounted on the outside of a single family dwelling with a 200 amp service panel mounted on the nearest inside wall, I also have a 200 amp 3r disconnect switch mounted besided the meter base for and out building and it is labeled. Is there a code problem?

Yes, there is a problem. Your disconnects are not "grouped". With one inside and one outside, you have a violation. (Article 230.72)

You may have a problem with 230.72.
Multiple (up to 6) sservice disconnecting means are required to be grouped together.
Probably a matter for the AHJ.

He could use exception #3 to 230.40 and eliminate the outside disconnect and be in compliance with the code.

I've got an 1873 Springfield Infantry Trapdoor (w/'79 improvements). It's been passed down through the family since its issue in 1881. With the bayonet, it's taller than I am.

45/70 (as in Elk's screen name) is a rifle caliber. First developed as a black-powder cartridge in the post Civil War era, it probably took more Bison than all the others combined, with a low velocity and a massive bullet weight of 500 grains.
It still is around today, and is used usually in a souped up form with higher velocities and lighter projectiles.
I'm just particularly (read overly) proud of the family heirloom I've got.
