Situation:
200 Amp main feeder with 200A OCPD supplies 5 dwelling units by way of 125 Amp taps to 100 Amp rated main lug panels. Does 384-16(a) Ex.1 require the multiple branch OCPDs to be summed up and treated as 1 OCPD and be limited to the 100 Amp rating of the panel?
In order to maintain diversity capacity, would the panel need to be rated at 200 Amps?
