Hey NJ contractors, do you like the new 2008 NEC? If not go to the website:
http://www.state.nj.us/dca/codes/ruleproposals/index.shtml

Look at the bottom of the page for the box that says "Proposals" There you will be taken to another page with all of the new proposals that NJ is about to make. Click on the 2008 NEC and you will get an Adobe file which shows what sections of the NEC that NJ will change. It will also give you the e-mail of a Mr. Micheal Tickin. You can then e-mail Mike back with your thoughts on the new code. If you guys don't like the code, here is your chance to say something about it.

OK, 84 views and nobody has anything to say/ad??

HEY Jersey guys.....what's up??

Let's hear from you guys about the '08 chance to comment to DCA.

Or, when '08 is adopted with amendments are you all going to *itch then?

I heard a lot of complaining at the '08 changes 9 hour seminar in January, and I expect to hear more at the upcoming 9 hours; this may be your chance to vent your objections to the 'right guys' that can make the amendments, not the guy doing the seminar!

John,

I sent in 2 e-mails to the state about the code and I hope to send more in. I told all the EC's in my area about the code changes. Let's see if they send anything in. You know what is going to happen, they won't send in a proposal but they will be the first one to complain to us when we have to fail them on a job because they didn't do it right.
