i have a customer who wants four floor boxes installed in concrete, i am usisng schedule 40 pvc and regular terminal adapters. is this cide complient? i know(from school ions ago) when using emt fittings shall be listed but not sure about pvc... honestly ive never installed a floor box period.

The guys around here use Smurf tube in concrete. It is more forgiving if your chipped out trench is not straight.

PVC is fine. Are you using the Carlon PVC boxes??

This is just a preference reply, but Hubbel pvc floor boxes are imho a tad more forgiving to trim out because of the way the trim ring is designed. They use 4 clips to hold the pvc trim out plate secure rather than just glue held in place, and therefore seem to me to be much more securely fastened that way.
