Some random vintage electrial items I own. (I have a crazy habit of collecting these items)

First Picture: (from left to right)

  • HUBBELL porcelain 2-outlet T-Slot tap. (plug end has flat blades)
  • Hemco Twin-Lite Y adaptor (pat Apr 1919, 660/250V rating, porcelain button at base)
  • NE-30 Neon lamp (functional)
  • HUBBEL Edison base to T-Slot adaptor:

Second Picture:

  • Plug-in lamp socket (can be used to test bulbs or circuits, have seen these in use as nightlights)
  • Another Hemco twin-lite Y adaptor (same patent date, possibly composition? One socket has a crack running vertically down it)
  • AH&H 3-outlet extension cord end (marked ARROW where the cord enters, Made in USA):

Cool stuff. I'm intrigued by the little neon lamp in pic #1. Looks like it just screws into a standard light socket, like the plug in one in pic #2? How much illumination do you get out of that - something like a night light maybe?

I see little incandescents that size in the box stores but I don't think I've run into little neons like that.

About that much. Here's a comparison photo (common NE-2 used to compare)
