Here's a couple of pics of an old timer I took out of a factory a few months ago.
It was used as a Defrost timer on a Freezer.

Here is a shot of the nameplate of the timer, sorry about the poor quality of the pics, it was pretty dark where I was working at the time.
I had another shot of the inside of the timer enclosure, but I must have accidently deleted it

Trumpy, these time clocks were used in abundance in the UK one area they were used in was street lighting columns you would find a clock in the bottom of each lamp post. Still lots of them about even today.

Yes, I've seen these old Horstmann units before. They often turn up in places like old village halls for timed switching of heating or lights.
