Found a pair of 6 1/4 amp 120v "Fustat" (Buss) screw in fuses. Not the Edison base type, but using the base designed to keep a user from using a too big fuse.

6¼ amps? was this on a piece of equiptment?

I've come across odd fuse sizes before, but nothing fractional!

It seems like a odd number, but 6¼A∙120V = 750VA, which is sort of a ‘round’ number. It may have evolved with some UL appliance standard, and not the NEC we’re so familiar with.

I have some of those 6 1/4 amp fuses, but with edison bases.

I have a 1 6/10 Amp Edison-based plug fuse in my small (but growing - donations accepted gladly [Linked Image] ) fuse collection.

The brand is K-E Thermofuse and is a porcelain plug with a brass/gold colored metal collar that holds the mica window in place.
