I don't know if it's real...but it's definitely believable.
I've been on worksites where this could easily have happened.
It sure surprised the kid at the nearby McDonalds when one of the guys took a Gator and went through the drive-thru to get the lunches for the rest of the crew.

What scares me is that I have known dozens of folks just like "Steve."
